Frequently asked
The questions buyers ask before the first order.
If the answer you need is not here, call +86 0635 2983818 or send an enquiry — we answer specification questions in writing.
- What is the minimum order quantity?
- We quote by the container. A 20GP is the practical minimum for a mixed order of boards and trim; below that, freight per m² rises sharply enough that it usually changes the project economics. Tell us the area and we will confirm whether it fits a 20GP or needs a 40HQ.
- What wear layer thickness do I need?
- We run 0.2, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm. Use 0.2–0.3 mm for residential, 0.5 mm for light commercial such as offices and hotel rooms, and 0.7 mm for heavy commercial such as malls, schools, airports and hospitals. The wear layer, not the total board thickness, determines how the floor ages.
- What core thicknesses are available?
- SPC cores are produced at 4, 4.2, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6 and 6.5 mm. The attached acoustic pad is quoted separately at 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 mm in IXPE, EVA or cork, so a board described as "6 mm" from us always means 6 mm of core.
- Is the flooring formaldehyde-free?
- SPC is 100% free of added formaldehyde. The core is PVC resin and limestone filler with no wood content, so there is no urea-formaldehyde binder in it. Our HDF laminate is a wood-based product and is rated to the E1 formaldehyde class.
- What is the fire rating?
- SPC flooring is classified Bfl-s1. It is effectively flame-retardant, self-extinguishing once the flame source is removed, and produces no toxic gas — which is what makes it specifiable for public buildings with fire-performance requirements.
- Which click-locking system do you use?
- Unilin (Uniclic) and Välinge, both under licence. We do not supply unlicensed "compatible" copies of these profiles. If your tender requires proof of licence, we can provide it with the quotation.
- Can the flooring be used over underfloor heating?
- Yes. SPC has high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion, which is what underfloor heating requires. Follow the normal commissioning procedure — bring the system up to temperature gradually after installation rather than switching it on at full output.
- Can you match a decor we already have?
- Yes. Decor films are customised per market and we produce to a supplied reference. Send a physical sample or a decor code and we will match it. Our current range runs to 29 decors across plain woodgrain, embossed-in-register and marble/stone.
- What plank sizes do you produce?
- Wood designs run 128 × 640, 184 × 1220, 228 × 1220, 228 × 1524 and 228 × 1800 mm. Marble and stone designs run 300 × 610 and 450 × 900 mm. Larger formats install faster and produce fewer joints, which is worth factoring into installed cost rather than comparing m² price alone.
- Do you supply matching skirtings and trim?
- Yes — colour-matched skirtings from 50 to 100 mm, stair nosings, stair boards, T-mouldings, reducers, quarter round and end caps, in co-extruded SPC for SPC floors and MDF for laminate. All 30 line items are published with per-box, per-pallet and per-20GP container quantities.
- Which certifications do you hold?
- ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001:2005 for environmental management, plus SGS third-party product testing, CE marking, FloorScore for indoor air quality, a UNILIN click-locking licence, and BSI registration. Current certificates and test reports are issued with the quotation and are available for tender submissions.
- Which markets do you export to?
- North America, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia. We are an export-oriented manufacturer based in Chiping County, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, China, and we control quality from raw material procurement through production, inspection and despatch.
Still deciding on a specification?
Send the area schedule and traffic class. We will specify the build-up and return a container loading plan rather than asking you to choose from a list.
